Lucy Kaplansky

One of contemporary folk music’s most distinctive voices, Lucy Kaplansky has built a remarkable career as a singer-songwriter, storyteller and collaborator. A longtime fixture of the Greenwich Village folk scene, she has performed and recorded with artists including Shawn Colvin, Nanci Griffith, Suzanne Vega, Dar Williams and Richard Shindell, and was a member of the acclaimed folk trio Cry Cry Cry.
